The Rosa Parks Movie

It was fun to learn about Rosa Parks. I decided to make a movie about her and how she was put in jail for standing up for her rights. We used a video camera and I got to draw all the pictures. When I used the camera in different ways, it made the movie look different. I hope you enjoy my movie!! -Ava

Civil Rights

We were asked the question today about our rights: 

What are your rights?

We said:

We can go to school with our friends. We can share our lunch and snack with them. We can be whatever we want when we grow up. 

Today we learned about Civil Rights. They are rights that we all have now because people stood up for other people. We went on the computer to find information. We saw videos and learned how to make lists that we can put on a chart. (Spreadsheet) We saw videos on YouTube and are going to make one! We can't wait!

I'm excited about doing this blog! I can't wait to show you what I learn! I will tell you about butterflies! My friends will also help me so I think this will be fun!
